It's ALL About the People

Results from the National Survey of Nonprofits and Voluntary Organizations show that the top four challenges to the sector are no time to plan, shortage of volunteers, lack of new perspectives on the boards and financial stability—in that order.

The key to successfully retain volunteers lies in capacity building; volunteers are attracted to strong organizations that can engage them in meaningful ways that shows the link between their work and outcome.
